Venice:
a Photojournal This photo journal by Rebecca Brown contains both photos and prose. Photography was taken by the author, and prose was written by the author. Every day we would visit different museums and learn about Venice from our art history teacher. Then the rest of the day would be spent doing a photo scavenger hunt for my travel photography class. Some of the items on the list of things to find were: a gelaterie, portrait of a gondolier, and tourists feeding the pigeons. The first day our teacher said to take pictures of everything, anything, to get it out of our systems, with all the new and wonderous visual overload. Then we could settle down and find pictures that were more unusual and quiet beauties.
