Viva Las Vegas!

Let’s face it – you’re going to go to Las Vegas at least once in your life. Thereafter; it’s a love it or hate it type of thing – you either keep coming back again and again, or once is quite enough depending on your disposition.

A trip to Vegas can be very much a “game of two halves”. There are the very obvious attractions of the biggest and most famous casinos – then there are the things to see and do within striking distance of here including the Mojave Desert, the Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon and many other attractions.

But for Vegas itself – it’s really a matter of seeing the world’s most famous casinos and the amazing Vegas strip.  Just to drive along here in your large American hire car is a never to be forgotten experience in itself.

The strip is just over four miles in length and it’s something best done at night to take in all the sights and the amazing lights. The Vegas strip includes some of the largest casino and hotel resorts in the world. In fact, no fewer than 15 of the 25 biggest hotels in the world can be found here with a grand total of more than 62,000 hotel rooms. And of course, virtually all the hotels have a world famous casino at the bottom.

If you have a look at the map of the Las Vegas strip, you’ll soon see that the short drive takes in some of the names you’d immediately associate with the city of bright lights such as Caesar’s Palace, the MGM Grand, Luxor, Circus Circus, the Cosmopolitan, Excalibur, Flamingo and so many more.

In a short stay here, you can get to see them all as well as taking in a few shows and looking at the amazing ceiling light show in the old town.

But if you’re coming here to gamble (and you kind of have to do that at least a little bit to really say you’ve “one” the town) then it may be wise to mug up a little before you get here and decide which games you’re going to play and, more to the point, how to play them!

The best and easiest way to try this before you get to Vegas is to have a go online. Most of the best online casinos have virtual rooms which are very much akin to the real thing. They also allow you to play for free in demonstration mode only, so you shouldn’t have to put any real money down of your own – unless you want to to make the whole thing more realistic of course.

And if you have any problems with any online casino – then this online casino complaints resolution service provides an excellent way to resolve and issues through mediation. The service will endeavour to respond to your enquiry within 24-48 hours whenever possible.

Having a quick rehearsal and trying out various casino games before you get to Vegas will make you feel far more comfortable about having a go when you’re here.

Then – whether once is enough or whether Vegas becomes an annual trip is really down to your personality. But you’ll never know until you try it out – at least once!
